Pre and post breast and chest surgery for breast cancer (mastectomy, lumpectomy and breast reconstruction), elective breast surgery, (augmentations, reductions and lifts), and gender-affirming surgery.

Pre and post surgical rehabilitation can help with accepting, integrating and healing from surgery, be it for breast cancer, reductions, implants or gender affirming surgery. Massage therapy may be indicated to manage scar tissue, movement restrictions, numbness, pain and associated discomforts.

All treatments are done in a professional manner with proper draping and treatment protocols in place, with a therapeutic intent. Treatments are done in a private setting and client confidentiality is maintained in all instances.

Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Lori and her family came to the Okanagan in 2015. She embraced the opportunity to change her life and enrolled into the massage therapy program at Vancouver Career College in Kelowna. Never giving up, she graduated and is a member of the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia and the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of British Columbia.

After experiencing a neck injury and her journey through it, Lori understands how important holistic therapies are to our healing process and recovery. Along with her fascination with the human body and emotional connection, she wants to create a safe and compassionate atmosphere to help others on their journey.

In 2023, Lori began her journey with The Mastectomy Guide, helping clients with pre and post surgical care and scar tissue. She is currently working through an extensive 6 month mentorship program for Breast, Chest and Oncology Massage.

Lori is passionate about this important work and to lift the social taboos of getting this sensitive area of the body worked on, in a safe, ethical and professional manor.
